And oldie and a newbie.

I don’t have much energy to write a whole lot about either today as my pay is now 3 weeks late and I am finding myself teaching for free. Needless to say my poor little brain box is FRIED. Beyond. Fried.

Diamond Rings have the outlandish approach to performing much like Of Montreal, colorful and tons of fun. He brings a sass to pop that keeps it fun without adding some kind of agenda. Pop music, afterall, should be fun. We don’t turn on pop music to become introspective about the theories of Kant, we turn it on to forget about Kant and everyone else in the world and just dance in our panties. This guy has that ideal down to an art form. Also, he matches his eyeshadow to his shoes.
