The Details – The Devil Whale

It’s a rock kind of day. The kind of day you have when everything around you is kind of going wrong but you know that ultimately there is nothing you can do so you just have fun and dance around your classroom while your students think you’ve lost all your marbles. Yep, a rock kind of day. Today is brought to you by the fine folks of The Details and The Devil Whale. Canada and Utah… maybe the two worst places ever (yes, I am being judge-y) give you some of the best kind of mellow rock today.
The Details have a live video and I was not swayed away from it, so that says a lot to the talent they possess. Most bands seem to have a problem keeping their true sound when live… but these folks are good. Real good.
The Devil Whale not only have a good name, they are fun in a way that doesn’t need ridiculous display. The vocals are rich while remaining simplistic. Cute and cuddly, I can’t help but fall for them.
