I will totally admit, with pride, that I groomed my little brother to be the champion music digger that he is in his blooming college years. He tends to sway more towards female vocalists and electronica, but he’s still got an ear for just about any genre if it’s good enough.
A few weeks ago he sent me this little gem by The Morning Benders. When I saw this video I was all in. Anytime you do something this awesome for funsies, I like you.
Songs about sex sung by a kid who looks no older than 14 (he’s 25) are no doubt disturbing… but with a song this delightful, who cares if it seems like it shouldn’t be legal.
I’m not so sure that I like the lyrics about sex being intertwined with a song that sounds like it was once played at a sock hop in 1952, but I shall let the adorableness trump that minuscule fact. Listen to these boys. Love them… just don’t LOVE them or you’ll no doubt feel like a pedo after.
